Nomination for the 2013 Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature

Hide Me Among the Graves, has been selected as a finalist for the 2013 Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature. The winners of this year's awards will be announced at the banquet during Mythcon 44, to be held at Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, from July 12-15, 2013.

Declare (Corvus)

The shortlist for the 2011 Arthur C. Clarke Award for Science Fiction Literature has just been announced and Declare, published by Corvus, is on it. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 27th April 2011 at an award ceremony held during the 10th Annual SCI-FI-LONDON Film Festival. You can read more at the SCI-FI-LONDON web site.

World Fantasy Award Nomination

John Berlyne has been nominated for a World Fantasy Award. His illustrated bibliography of Tim's work, Powers: Secret Histories, was published by PS Publishing. You can see the ballot at the

Xatafi-Cyberdark Nominees

Science Fiction Awards Watch reports that the nominees for the Xatafi-Cyberdark Spanish language awards have been announced. The results will be announced at the Getafe Negro convention in Madrid over the weekend of October 18-24, 2010.
The nominees include:

Powers Nominated for Mythopoeic Award

Powers's most recent novel Three Days To Never has been nominated for the 2007 Mythopoeic Award in the Adult Literature catagory.

This award is given annually by the Mythopoeic Society, "a non-profit international literary and educational organization for the study, discussion, and enjoyment of fantastic and mythic literature, especially the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Charles Williams" and has previously been won by Powers back in 1990 for The Stress of Her Regard. Additionally, Last Call and Declare both made it to the final shortlist.

This year's award will be presented at the Mythcon XXXVIII convention, taking place in Berkeley, California from 3rd to 6th August.
